Our studies are designed to address very specific informational needs of the client, and the final report is organized to reflect these informational needs. Study topics include:
- How customers seek out, retrieve, and purchase products, services, and information
- How usable are online services
- What are customer likes/dislikes
- What are their preferences
- What is missing from their online shopping experiences
- What is working well
- What would make their online experience easier, more enjoyable, and more user-friendly
- Who is the competition
As part of this engagement, TecAccess will also do the following:
- Review recent server logs and user comments to the webmaster, with focus on user performance.
Focus Groups:
TecAccess plans and conducts comprehensive focus groups with customers with disabilities, with the goal of obtaining information pertaining to the assistive technology and online products utilized by this target population. TecAccess specifically examines how people with disabilities or the aging population use assistive technology, what are their likes/dislikes, their preferences, what is missing from their experience, what is working well, and what would make their online experiences easier, more enjoyable, and more user friendly.
Our associates utilize a dual interviewer approach in which a screened (qualified) group of respondents will be interviewed. They will be screened to ensure that all subjects are part of the relevant target market and that the group is a representative subgroup of this market segment. Our interviewer guides subjects through the discussion that will probe attitudes about not only accessibility issues, but the usability of all products and services. The discussion will be loosely structured, and the interviewer will encourage the free flow of ideas to enhance the gathering of qualitative data.
