Rockville, VA - December 7, 2007-- Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), with a proven track record of putting IT to work in practical and bottom line ways for over 48-years, and TecAccess have formed a strategic partnership to train disabled veterans in the technology sector. As a result, our nation´s heroes who have served the cause of freedom in war and in peace, at home and abroad, will receive the opportunity to utilize a unique telecommuting model that will allow them to train for professional careers in civilian life from the comforts of their home, office, or hospital bed.

TecAccess, an award-winning accessibility and workforce solutions company, has developed a one of a kind program, known as DVET, for training disabled veterans returning from the Global War on Terror (GWOT). The DVET program uses assistive technology, such as screen readers and voice activated controls, to help train disabled veterans to work in high level positions at CSC. With approximately 87,000 employees in 92 countries worldwide, CSC has embraced this opportunity to train and hire a talented, yet untapped, workforce that is made up of high skilled and motivated individuals.
