Independent Sales Representative

We are looking for established sales people interested in adding an additional line of business to their current portfolio. The individual must have the drive to be successful selling business to business to expand our network of independent business people throughout the United States. This requires no upfront investments from you and you can expect commissions on sales and on renewals and we funnel all the referrals from your customers to you. Your territory becomes your base of local business customers. Work part time or full time, depending on what you want to make. Experience tells us you should be able to close 4 to 12 contracts per month.
This is not a franchise. There is nothing you have to pay. You get professional sales support, sales literature, and contracts. To help you sell we supply leads, Q&A phone support to you as well as conference calls with customers to help you make sales.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A successful record of selling business to business (B2B). We provide product training for the TecAccess program.

Performance of Duties:
- Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentation and understanding account requirements.
- Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections and assist in preparing contracts.
- Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
H.3.5 Senior LAN Administrator
Functional Responsibility: The Senior LAN Administrator will serve as the lead specialist on LAN issues and provide team coordination. Provide direction and high level technical assistance to other LAN managers. Configure network hardware and software resources, such as servers, printers, electronic mail systems, remote access system, etc. and provide protocol and connectivity support to developers of web-enabled applications. Assist with Help Desk complex service calls for technical issues.
Develop, monitor, and maintain utilities and procedures to perform periodic maintenance, backups, shutdowns, recoveries, and diagnostics. Evaluate, recommend, and install software and hardware to facilitate and monitor network throughput and control load balancing. Plan and participate in software and hardware migrations and lead field migration teams. Develop procedures for automating installation of network software via the network. Assist in the administration of Citrix and RSA SecurID remote access infrastructure components. Monitor appropriate security levels of network components. Establish, test and maintain LAN disaster recovery plans. Establish, test and maintain certifications/tests for the LAN. Review system logs of the LAN for audit purposes and report suspicious activity to Federal management.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor´s degree in a related subject or five+ years of equivalent experience.
- Certification in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Professional in Windows 2000/2003.
- Extensive experience supporting LANs, Ethernet connectivity, remote network access technologies, client workstation configurations and tape backup solutions

Functional Responsibility: The Expert LAN Administrator will manage user accounts and shared accounts. Establish, install, test, and maintain workstation configurations and software. Troubleshoot workstation problems. Assist in managing the electronic mail system. Install, configure, and manage office automation and vendor-supplied software. Manage network resources, including printers, servers, PCs, switches, etc. Provide end-user support. Perform system backups, system shutdowns, and other routine maintenance tasks. Participate in software and hardware migrations. Assist with Help Desk complex service calls for technical issues. Review system logs for the LAN for audit purposes and report suspicious activity to Federal management.
Qualifications/Education:
- At a minimum, bachelor´s degree in a related field, such as computer science and 4+ years of experience in the field, in related areas.

H.3.7 Senior UNIX Systems Administrator
Functional Responsibility: The Senior UNIX System Administrator will serve as the lead specialist on UNIX issues and provide team coordination. Provide direction and high level technical assistance to other UNIX managers. Administer and configure network hardware and software resources, such as servers, DNS, databases, etc. and provide protocol and connectivity support to developers of web-enabled applications. Develop, monitor, and maintain utilities and procedures to perform periodic maintenance, backups, shutdowns, recoveries, and diagnostics. Evaluate, recommend, and install software and hardware to facilitate and monitor network throughput and control load balancing. Plan and participate in software and hardware migrations and lead field migration teams. Develop procedures for automating installation of network software via the network. Monitor appropriate security levels of network components. Establish, test and maintain UNIX disaster recovery plans. Establish, test and maintain certification/test UNIX environment. Create, edit and maintain system documentation. Follow established ETA configuration management policy and procedures in the administration of the ETA UNIX systems. Respond to ETA IT security requests in regards to audits performed by or for the Department. Review Unix system logs for audit purposes and report suspicious activity to Federal management.

H.3.8 Senior Database Administrator
Functional Responsibility: The Senior Database Administrator will act as team lead as appropriate on
technical projects. Structure, implement, maintain, document and control the overall production database and Oracle e-Business system activity in a multi-location environment. Work closely with all functional groups to assure a smooth implementation and to insure compliance with all corporate adopted system standards and directions. Lead performance monitoring and fine tune systems for optimal performance and proactively plan and manage all aspects of Oracle database. Plan and implement the backup and recovery procedures for the Oracle applications systems. Plan and implement timely upgrade to the Oracle applications system. Evaluate the merits/benefits of available system upgrades and enhancements and make recommendations to management. Perform all production patching, maintenance and support activity. Assist in the technical evaluation of additional/new financial modules/applications. Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, and production usage. Perform the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases. The DBA works closely with system administration staff because computers often have applications or tools on them in addition to the Oracle databases. Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances. Install new versions of the Oracle relational database management system and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database. Plan and implement backup and recovery of the Oracle database. Control migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle. Implement and enforce security for all of the Oracle databases. Perform database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database. Evaluate releases of Oracle and its tools, and third party products to ensure that the site is running the products that are most appropriate. In the planning stages, work with application developers and system administrators, to ensure that any new product usage or release upgrade takes place with minimal impact. Enforce and maintain database constraints to ensure integrity of the database. Administer all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures. Assist with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects. Troubleshoot problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools. Manage sharing the of resources amongst applications. Review database system logs for audit purposes and report suspicious activity to Federal management.
Qualifications/Education:
- Minimum seven years of solid experience as a hands-on Oracle DBA in a Solaris Environment (performance tuning, security, documentation, etc.).
- Ability to understand and write UNIX Shell scripting.
- Must be willing to learn new technologies, document, and share information.
- Good working knowledge of Best Practices.
- Good working knowledge of MS Project or other Project Management Software.
- Five years experience with RMAN Backups/Restores.
- Must work well independently while simultaneously being a strong team player.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written are essential to achieve project-oriented goals).
- Three years Database Warehouse experience (preferred to include partitioning, star transformations, and materialized views).
- Five years experience with PL*SQL programming.
- Ability to design, implement, maintain and control a systems administration functions in a nationwide, multi-location environment.

H.3.9 Data Center Manager
Functional Responsibility: The Data Center Manager will provide ongoing technical and leadership expertise in supporting the ETA Data Centers´ growth and scalability requirements. Provide high-level vendor management and vendor selection direction for ETA´s Networks Data Centers´ power and capacity planning, equipment inventory, emergency response, stack & rack services, equipment end of life cycle (EOL) process, standard operating procedure documentation, and physical security management. Ensure the integrity of Data Center resources, including power supply, air conditioning, equipment, and backup supplies. Control all equipment and supplies stored in the Data Center. Ensure that documentation is available for all equipment. Assign equipment locations and space in the Data Center. Oversee the physical security of the Data Center. Participate in Data Center emergency responses. Investigate physical security violations and other security incidents for the IT Security Manager. Recommend safeguards, services, and access-control measures for the Data Center. Manage video conference equipment and sessions for ETA national and regional locations. Assist with Help Desk complex service calls for technical issues.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor´ degree in computer science, management information systems or closely related field OR completion of approved two-year community college/vocational/technical school degree/certificate in management, computer programming, networking, information technology, computer operation or equivalent college course work in related areas or equivalent specialized trade field.
- Six years of experience in IT Management in direct support of a Data Center.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC and power requirements for high availability Data Centers.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and able to troubleshooting network problems with LAN connectivity.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Broad background in Data Center operations, knowledge of HVAC and power management for lights out operations.

H.3.10 Senior Cold Fusion Administrator
Functional Responsibility: The Senior Cold Fusion Administrator will serve as the technical lead in the design and implementation of the Cold Fusion infrastructure. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and create proposals to meet business needs. Analyze existing systems against IT and business strategies and make well-defined recommendations and execution plans for efficiency and architecture/design improvements within and outside the execution of current projects. Proactively monitor application, system software and/or hardware operations and take corrective action to prevent outages or failures. Provide administration and maintenance of Windows servers. Adhere to ETA configuration management methodology standards, procedures and policy. Devise applications infrastructure solutions based on business problems (design) in line with Enterprise-wide Technical Architecture. Exercise an in-depth understanding of specific tools or technologies applicable to ETA´s business. Lead definition and management of technical web development standards. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems design. Provide maintenance to the Cold Fusion web infrastructure on a continuous basis. Upgrade and update Cold Fusion infrastructure to keep the system current. Design, document, implement and maintain the web front end systems in the virtual environment. Maintain, improve and update the PROTECH secure log server infrastructure using SPLUNK. Review system audit logs and report issues to management.
